The New York State Library is proud to promote and support Summer Reading at New York Libraries. Each year, the Collaborative Summer Library Program/CSLP consortium commissions artwork to illustrate the theme and slogan of the programs for children and teens, and this artwork is used throughout the materials for that year.
To maintain continuity from one year to the next, The New York State Library has developed its own brand identity and logo for Summer Reading at New York Libraries to help focus the general public, as well as the media, on the programs offered by the 1,100 public and branch libraries in New York State.
The logo is available in color, grayscale, black and white, or white on a transparent background, and is available in different file formats to meet your needs. If you are using an external vendor to print materials, please contact them to see which file format they prefer.
The Summer Reading at New York Libraries logo has been updated to provide a cohesive look across all NYSL branding. The use of vibrant colors and modern fonts is meant to convey the lighthearted, fun, and contemporary approach to educational activities provided by libraries across the state. With this restyling of the logo, we hope to appeal to the current aesthetic of today’s children and teens.
To assure continuity and to protect the Summer Reading at New York Libraries brand identity, these elements should always appear exactly as shown. No alterations of any kind should be made to the logo. Please contact us with any concerns or specific requests.
