Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January's exhibit, in honor of his birthday and the fiftieth anniversary of his assassination, features books from the New York State Library's collection about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The State Library has a wide collection of books on Dr. King, ranging from biographical and autobiographical to books describing programs inspired by the life of Dr. King.

The exhibit covers many periods in Dr. King's life and also shows his influence, as one of the key figures in the civil rights movement to end racial segregation, on others.
