The Three Apples Book Awards
New York State Children's and Teen Choice Awards
The 3 Apples Book Awards
were developed by the Youth Services and School Library Media Sections of the New York Library Associationto to encourage the joy of reading for pleasure, and to give the children and teens of New York State the opportunity to participate in honoring their favorite books by nominating and voting for the books selected each year.
There are now three awards:
- Young Readers' Book Award (added for 2010)
- Children's Book Award
- Teen Book Award
