NYSL Renewal Request Form for Individual Borrowers

The Circulation Unit of the New York State Library now accepts book/material renewals by email provided that:

you have a valid New York State Library Borrower's Card,
the book or other material being renewed is a New York State Library item, and
the book or other material is not on hold for another borrower.

You will be sent a message to the email address listed below confirming that the items have been renewed and specifying the new due date. If an item is on hold for another borrower, it must be returned to the New York State Library. If you would like to renew an interlibrary loan item, you must call the NYSL Interlibrary Loan Unit at (518) 486-4932.
