(January 2001) Kim Wobick, formerly of Manhattanville College, began work this month as the second Project Cataloger in METRO New York City. She joins Jennifer Palladino in the New York University Bobst Library office. Kim, Jennifer, and Bob worked together at Bobst on the 22nd & 23rd. The trio also stopped in at the METRO office for an interview with the newsletter editor. We expect a feature story about the Project to appear in the January/February 2001 issue of @METRO.

(March 2001) A meeting of the Friends group was held on the 16th with William Bortis who is spending the year 2001 providing free consulting to non-profits. As the Friends enters its tenth year of service, it was good to see what the group looks like to an outsider. Mr. Bortis provided the Friends with a report that will provide food for thought as it plans its next ten years of service.
