New Look to Library Web Site
On June 5, 2009, the New York State Library moved to a new site design, based on that of our parent institution, the New York State Education Department (SED). SED went live with their redesigned main pages in December of 2008, and since then program areas within the Department have gradually been converting their own sites.
Most of the content from the Library's previous site is still there, and we tried very hard to maintain the same URLs for pages. However, some content has been reorganized, and there is additional navigation. We hope these changes will make it easier to find information on our site.
There are a few pages that have not yet been converted to the new format, but they will be updated over the next several weeks. Our goal is to have the entire conversion completed by July.
