NYS Library To Close at 4 p.m. on May 16, 2013
The New York State Library will close one hour early, at 4 p.m. , on Thursday, May 16, 2013, because of the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge race scheduled for this evening.
Because of the race, Madison Avenue will be closed between Eagle and Swan Street starting at 4 p.m. In addition, the Madison Avenue entrance to the Concourse and the Madison Avenue entrance to the Cultural Education Center will be closed for both entry and exit by 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. To accommodate this schedule the New York State Education Department is taking the following actions:
- The Cultural Education Center will be closed to public access at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 16.
- Public areas in the State Library, Archives and Museum will be closed starting at 4 p.m.
The Cultural Education Center will resume normal operations starting on Friday, May 17.
