Library System 2021 – 2026 Five Year Plan of Service


Following are major changes to 2021-2026 System Five Year Plan of Service – Questions and Instructions

NOTES:

Please expect re-numbering due to questions added or re-ordered since the 2016-2021 POS.
Not all instances of re-numbering are noted in this outline.

Minor changes in instructions are not included in this list.


  • Changes to Public Library Systems and Reference and Research Library Resources Systems – Section 2:
    • 2.4 Advisory Groups - Additional Advisory Groups added for PLS and 3Rs.
  • Changes to School Library Systems and Reference and Research Library Resources Systems – Section 3:
    • Questions moved from Section 4 were added to Section 3 regarding URLs for Member Plan template (SLS), Cooperative Collection Development Plan (SLS) and Cooperative Collection Development for Academic Libraries (3Rs).
  • Changes to All Systems – Section 3:
    • Evaluation Results - Question was removed as results are not required when the Plan of Service begins. Results must be posted after evaluations are completed and the URL must be included in the system annual report.
  • Changes to Public Library Systems – Section 4:
    • 4.3 Element 1 (Integrated Library System) - Revised instructions.
