2012 Summer Reading Minigrant–Albany BOCES SLS School librarians will collaborate with their local public librarians to increase awareness of the summer reading program among teachers, parents, and students in the Grades K-8 range. School and public librarians will work together to create educational materials and activities. Public librarians will conduct school visits to promote the program. School librarians will participate in Summer Reading activities by running book discussion groups, both in person and online, chaperoning trips to the local public libraries, conducting surveys with students and parents, and assisting in other programming.
