Sullivan Free Library (Madison Co.)

The Sullivan Free Library received $46,429 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program to renovate a former bank building that the library has purchased to provide library services.  The renovation includes demolition of 23 existing walls to accommodate the new floor plan, abatement of asbestos and other materials, and installing heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical features.  The new library building will allow the library to expand both in size and in the nature of programs provided.  In addition, the meeting rooms will be a resource for the entire community.
