Seaford Public Library (Nassau Co.)
The Seaford Public Library received $8,608 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for the replacement of a water tower with a new A/C system condensing unit. The previous water tower unit dated back to the 1950s and it was essential that this equipment be replaced with a modern unit. The new condensing unit maintains temperature efficiently and actually improves the library’s exterior space, as it is more compact and produces less noise.
