Sayville Library (Suffolk Co.)

The Sayville Library received $5,000 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for installation of soundproof glass for study/conference rooms; purchase and installation of shelving for new library. This new facility provides quiet and group study rooms in each department -- children’s, teen and adult. When the library opened, the rooms were tested for soundproofing and it was found that the single pane of glass does not provide this feature.
