Sand Lake Town Library (Rensselaer Co.)
The Sand Lake Town Library received $8,077 from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program to renovate the program room. Previously, the program room was deteriorating, with a stained ceiling, buckling carpets, and old air conditioners. Renovations, including new air conditioners, new carpet and a repaired floor, a new door and frame, removal of several electrical outlets, new furniture, and new display areas, will improve the room greatly. The room will be more efficient and a better spot to offer programming.
