Sand Lake Town Library (Rensselaer Co.)

The Sand Lake Town Library received $7,171 from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program for the complete renovation of the Children’s Room. The community of Sand Lake, in response to a survey conducted by the library’s Board of Trustees, indicated that renovation of library facilities was a priority. A complete renovation of the Children’s Room, as part of phase two of the overall renovation plan, included new carpeting, increased shelving, new furniture, expansion of existing space, and overall enhancement of the area to create a more attractive space for library patrons.
