Patterson Library (Westfield, Chautauqua Co.)

The Patterson Library received $15,062 from the $14 Million Public Library Grant Program to fund the replacement of the lighting system and required electrical wiring in the Main Reading Room.  Through the replacement of the lighting, energy efficiency and patron use of the library are improved.  The new lighting offers better levels of lighting that will benefit all patrons, including those with visual impairments.  Additionally, those using the collections along the reading room perimeter and those using the library at night will experience a great increase in lighting levels.
