Public Library Construction Grant Program

2006-2007 $800,000 Public Library Construction Grants

Prattsburgh Free Library (Steuben Co.)

The Prattsburgh Free Library received $4,268 from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program to replace a total of six windows and an outside door on the front of the building.  Replacement of the windows and doors has allowed the library to significantly decrease its energy costs, made the library more comfortable for patrons and staff, and helped in controlling the climate in which the collection is stored.
