An engineering feasibility study has been done, with positive results, and the costs of both projects are estimated to be about three million dollars ($3,000,000). The Board estimates that it has currently about one-quarter of the monies needed for this project.

More urgently, the HVAC system requires a major overhaul, which is expected to cost about $300,000 (three hundred thousand dollars.)To date an engineering study has been done and the Library is in the process of contracting for the creation of bid specifications. Work is expected to be completed no later than June, 2007.
