Oxford Memorial Library (Chenango Co.)
The Oxford Memorial Library received $209,620 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for the construction of a 1,100 square foot addition. This project includes the construction of the new community room, chair lift, bathroom and full basement for storage. The community room allows for sufficient accommodation of increasingly popular children’s and community programming, and incorporates wireless technology and energy efficient design. The new addition is part of a five-year renovation and construction project at the library to improve service and meet current and future needs of patrons.
