New Berlin Library (Chenango Co.)

The New Berlin Library received $5,641 from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program to install central air conditioning in the library building.  Previously, the library would become very warm in the summer and patrons would occasionally spend time in the basement museum area rather than taking advantage of the main reading rooms.  With central air conditioning, everyone stopping by the library in the summer, including many seniors and children, will be more comfortable.
