New Berlin Library (Chenango Co.)
The received $7,414 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for the replacement of the furnace boiler system, and the installation of a new chimney liner. The previous heating system was over 50 years old and would likely have failed in the near future. The new system equipment is more reliable, runs more efficiently, and will produce energy savings for the library.
