Northville Public Library (Fulton Co.)
The Northville Public Library received $21,300 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for the replacement of the roof, installation of new insulation in the attic, restoration of metal roof on the back of the building. The previous roof was 18 years old and needed replacing. The new roof includes asphalt shingles and a waterproof membrane and venting ridge. The addition of new insulation helps the library to maintain interior temperatures and increases the library’s energy efficiency. These changes provide more efficient utilization of the building and help the library to continue to bring quality services to its community.
