North Castle Public Library (Westchester County)

The North Castle Public Library received $4,400 from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program to replace six windows in the library theatre and reference area. The old windows in Whippoorwill Hall, which is the main library theatre, and in the Charles Elson room, the reference area, were rotting and needed replacement. They had been installed in 1987 and no longer sealed properly. With new energy-efficient windows, the library will save on fuel costs and provide a more comfortable environment.
