North Babylon Public Library (Suffolk Co.)
The North Babylon Public Library received funds from the $14 million Public Library Construction Grant Program to replace its original entryway doors. The project included complete replacement of the exterior wall front, including all glass panels and replacement of the 24” doors with one 48” electrical sliding glass door with an automatic sensor. The replacement of the original doors has improved handicapped accessibility and made the building more energy efficient.
