Maxwell Memorial Library (Onondaga Co.)
The Maxwell Memorial Library received $5,587 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for the replacement of a hot water boiler for the heating system. The library previously operated with a 30-40-year-old heating system that was inefficient and unreliable, costing the library time and money for maintenance and repairs. The new boiler is highly efficient and is guaranteed to remain operational for many years. The library hopes to direct savings toward collections and programming for the community.
