Massena Public Library (St. Lawrence Co.)
The Massena Public Library in St. Lawrence County (North Country Library System) used their 2004-05 construction aid grant to redo the front walkway to their library building. The front steps leading up to the front doors and most of the existing sidewalk were eliminated and replaced with a new concrete sidewalk and beautiful sloped entryway graced with lovely brick and new handrails. The construction not only made the front entrance more accessible to the handicapped but also provided safer entry for all patrons and generally enhanced the appearance of the front of the building.
