Larchmont Public Library (Westchester County)
The Larchmont Public Library received $45,000 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program to rehabilitate the HVAC system. Previously, the HVAC system did not heat or cool consistently. Some spaces have been overheating to the point of being unusable. The project includes replacing fan coils, electrical and piping work, and installing temperature controls and sensors. The new system will keep the library at a more comfortable temperature, enabling patrons and staff to use all areas of the building.
