Jervis Public Library Association, Inc. (Rome, Oneida Co.)
The Jervis Public Library received $91,725 from the $14 Million Public Library Grant Program to replace the HVAC system. Previously, the system was inefficient and the air-conditioning unit no longer worked. The existing heating and cooling system was replaced with a water source heat pump system. Multiple boilers will enable better heating and cooling of the library building. With the new system, heating and cooling the building will be a more efficient process.
