Town of Indian Lake Public Library (Hamilton County)
The Town of Indian Lake Public Library received $3,600 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program to install heating and cooling equipment. In 2001-2002, an addition was added to the library building. With the new building shape, air circulation changed and the building became very hot during the summer months. Additionally, the new heating system needed additionally back-up due to power problems. With a new heating and cooling system, the library will be kept at a steady temperature year-round. This will make the building a more comfortable and enjoyable place for both staff and patrons.
