The Community Free Library received $55,900 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program to merge a newly purchased building with the adjacent existing library building. The library was able to demolish common non-bearing walls and reconstruct and renovate the new, larger space. The increased space will allow the library to add a children’s room, a multi-purpose room, a bathroom and a small storage area. The library will now be able to offer increased and more effective services to the community and library users.
