Haines Falls Free Library (Greene Co.)
The Haines Falls Free Library received $150,000 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program for remediation and repairs to the roof of a newly purchased building. The roof of the building required asbestos abatement and extensive repairs before the installation of a new HVAC system and other equipment. Other phases of construction can now continue without environmental hazards, and with the guarantee of safety for construction crews, future visitors and staff.
