Hadley-Luzerne Public Library (Lake Luzerne, Warren Co.)
The Hadley-Luzerne Public Library received $5,050 from the $14 Million Public Library Grant Program to fund improvements to the handicapped access ramp. The previous ramp was too steep, making it not up to code and difficult for patrons in wheelchairs to navigate. Additionally, it would become icy and dangerous in the snow. The new ramp has been extended to lessen the steepness and covered on the top and sides to allow for easier access in inclement weather. Additionally, a small deck area and hand-railings were added to complete the project.
