Greenburgh Public Library (Westchester Co.)
The Greenburgh Public Library received $80,000 from the $14 Million Public Library Construction Grant Program to install a geothermal heating and cooling system. The system will help to heat and cool the newly expanded and renovated library building. With the new system, which heats and cools by using the Earth’s underground temperature, the library will be environmentally friendly and efficient. Services to patrons will be expanded in the new facilities.
