Freeport Memorial Library (Nassau Co.)

The Freeport Memorial Library received funds from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program to install a security surveillance system in the lower level of the West Building. The new system includes seven Toshiba dome cameras, one 19 inch CCD LCD monitor, and one DVR 4U rack mount digital video recorder. Installation of this new security system has improved the safety and security of the library and ensured that all residents have a library that is safe, accessible, and inviting.
