Fred & Harriett Taylor Memorial Library, Hammondsport (Steuben Co.)
The Fred & Harriett Taylor Memorial Library received $20,623 from the $14 million Public Library Construction Grant Program for construction of a parking lot, exterior stairs, exterior handicap accessible ramps and a septic system for its new library building. The exterior ramps lead directly from the parking lot, connecting to the exterior stairs on both sides of the building. The parking lot, ramps and stairs were designed to provide 360-degree access to the building by community members of all physical abilities.
