Cragsmoor Free Library (Ulster Co.)
The Cragsmoor Free Library received $19,175 from the $14 Million Public Library Grant Program to renovate the exterior of the building. Exterior renovation projects include restoring columns in the library façade, replacing the accessible entrance portico, reconstructing the roof and increasing insulation, replacing an unused door, replacing the fire exit stairs, and opening a new fire exit in the main area of the library. These projects will increase the usable space within the library by increasing energy efficiency and insulation. Additionally, the library will be safer and more accessible with the replacement of doors, widening of a sidewalk overhang, and new exit stairs.
