Chateaugay Memorial Library (Franklin Co.)
The Chateaugay Memorial Library received $5,450 from the $800,000 Public Library Construction Grant Program to construct a kitchenette in the community room. The new kitchenette will allow for library programming and community groups to expand the services offered to the public. For example, story hour programs with food themes could include a cooking activity along with the story. Community groups holding meetings will be able to serve refreshments with the proper facilities to prepare, store, and clean up. The new kitchenette will benefit the staff and community that uses the Chateaugay Memorial Library community room.
