20th Century Club Library (Almond, Allegany Co.)

The 20th Century Club Library, Almond, received $4423 from the $14 Million Public Library Grant Program to fund the replacement of curbing, gutters, downspouts, and splashguards around the library’s foundation to prevent water damage. The new splashguard replaces the original concrete apron around the building, which deteriorated, allowing water to damage the foundation. With the new system, water will be directed away from the foundation, preventing further cracks and damage.
