Note: An unofficial compilation of all New York State codes, rules, and regulations, which runs more than 58,000 pages, is available on the Department of State website in searchable format at www.dos.state.ny.us/info/nycrr.htm The Official Compilation of New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR) is not available free of charge on the Internet. Both laws and regulations are available in hard copy in many law libraries and in some public libraries. Some public law libraries may have them in electronic forms which are searchable by subject. Public law libraries can be found on the Unified Court System Web site at http://www.nycourts.gov/reporter/.
