Local histories in this collection cover the state of New York, and the neighboring states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The many genealogies in this collection are not featured in the exhibit as they are frequently used on site.

The items featured in the cases around the elevator lobby illustrate the many items in the Ancestry Library Edition and FamilySearch which can be used to study history and research genealogy. These items include church records from New York City and Germany, Pension Application files for the Revolutionary War, college yearbooks, New England Seamen’s Identification cards and more.
