New Computer System for TBBL
Work has been progressing on acquiring a new computer system for TBBL, and in early November, we expect to move from our current system to the Keystone Library Automation System, or KLAS.
We ask for your patience when this transition takes place, since we will be closed for a few days from approximately October 29 through November 2, 2009.
The TBBL staff has begun training to learn how to operate the new KLAS system, and we will be making modifications to our current circulation procedures. Please note that there may be times when staff are not available to take calls on the 800# because they are all attending a training class.
We expect to bring up the new system on November 3, 2009 but hope you will keep in mind that it may take a bit of time to make sure everything is working properly.
We are looking forward to being able to serve your library needs more efficiently after the transition.
