For readers looking for an audio copy of the Bible that they can keep, there are two options.

BARD

Registered patrons with a BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download) account can download the King James Version of the Bible from BARD:

Aurora Ministeries

Registered NLS patrons can sign up for a free account to download the Bible from Audio Bibles for the Blindexternal link to Aurora Ministries site (Aurora Ministries). These downloads work the same as NLS recordings from the BARD website.

Three digital talking book versions of the Bible are available:

  • King James Version,
  • New King James Version, and
  • International Children's Bible.

Aurora Ministries also offers free copies of the Bible on mp3-format CDs to eligible users.
